The ABC's of surfing are about agility, balance and coordination. Your yoga class will help you awaken your body, stretch your limbs and enliven your senses ahead of your surf session. Your one hour yoga practice will help you find your balance and tune into your body awareness. It increase your flexibility and mobility, cultivate mindfulness and focus and build up some inner fire before you hit the beach for some waves.

Your surf lesson begins with your surf instructor teaching you the ABCs of surfing on the sand before you hit the ocean. You will have the opportunity to reconnect with nature and embrace the challenges surfing offers. Surfing is not the easiest sport in the world. So you will learn about your limitations, practice being humble and appreciating where you are at that moment. Surfing helps you learn to excel in a challenging, dynamic environment.

People who are interested in yoga are recommended to give surfing a try. You'll love it. And people interested in surfing are recommended to try yoga to help boost their surfing performance. Yoga helps you build strength and stamina. You'll learn to breathe long and quietly, through your nose, to help you stay calm and collected in the water.

Yoga will help you practice calmer, more mindful breaths in the water, increase your mental focus and to relax and enjoy the entire process. Your presurf yoga practice will help you to let go in the surf and act on instinct. During your surf session, your coach will ask you to practice PMA (positive mental attitude) to help you tackle the waves and learn some new skills. Surfing helps you leave your comfort zone and face your fears in a safe learning environment. It will help you quiet the mind and tune into the wonderful natural environment you are immersed in. Leave your worries on the beach and fully enjoy getting back to nature and having fun.
